Hephaestos components

Sound, lighting and video in one cue sheet

Hephaestos is organized around three show-control components: Audio, Lighting and Video. Each component can be used alone or combined to build a complete, synchronized cue sheet for performance.

Audio component

Professional audio playback

The audio component is built to prepare and trigger show sound with multiple outputs, precise fades and routing for multichannel control rooms.

  • Driver directX, ASIO et WASAPI on windows, CoreAudio on OSX
  • You can use several soundcart on the same time to add more outputs
  • Number of stéréo players: 100 tracks
  • Direct outputs, sends or with a surround pan. The speaker on the surround pan are freely movable, you can adjust the radius of every speaker
  • Time in, out and crossfade for every clip
  • 44.1 to 192 kHz
  • tree pan law for better audio results
Lighting component

Lighting and DMX cueing

The lighting component lets you program memories, masters and cue lists, then control the stage through DMX, ArtNet or compatible USB interfaces.

  • Cue recording on masters
  • Many cues-lists
  • ASCII import/export
  • 12 presets curves and 20 user curves
  • Chanels macro to controle every Hephaestos parameters by dmx
  • Artnet in and out
  • Enttec usb open (tested), usb pro(tested), usb pro mk2 (2 outputs or one input/one output)(tested), dmx king (not tested), dmx4all (not tested)
Video component

Video media inside the cue sheet

The video component brings image and video media into the same cue logic as sound and lighting, keeping the show flow readable and coherent.

  • Trigger video media from the cue sheet
  • Organize video with the other show cues
  • Synchronize with audio, lighting and automation actions
  • Designed for rehearsal: find, replay and adjust media quickly
Cross-component control

Control and automate the three components

Beyond the three main blocks, Hephaestos connects the booth to external controllers and automation so the software can adapt to each stage setup.

MIDI

MIDI input to trigger or control actions from a controller, console or external device.

Arduino

Arduino library for Hephaestos usb com, easy to use.

Automation

Automation tracks to controle every Hephaestos parameters. Every automation clip are independant from the timeline.

An interface built for show control

The goal is not to multiply windows, but to keep a clear view of tracks, media, levels and actions to trigger. Hephaestos brings preparation, rehearsal and performance into one tool.
